Ok just ran a benchmark where the 2018 i5 air was able to run 3 tracks and the 2016 pro i5 ran 14 tracks. I was able to run 15 tracks on my i3 2020 macbook air, no stuttering, no glitching. Temps were hot but the actual case temp was totally fine. Edit: i was on the launch day OS and updated to 10.15.5 and i can run 22 tracks.
